Does the condition of the pitch matter?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_lYgLObJHc&t=625s

here is a useful video un conditions.

hard floor courts

hard floor courts are the most usual courts available. This courts are possible to have everywhere in very dry countries and in very wet ones as well such as Ireland. they are also the cheapest ones to make, they are just made of flat cement and painted over with a fine covering of any visible colour.

Every knows how to play in a hard floor court since the bounce is not too high like in clay courts or too low like in grass courts the ball bounces at around your belly. This makes it easy for you to hit the ball on its perfect spot so therefore you could get stronger shots or longer rallies in training this is why Novak Djokovic is the best in hard floor because he gets shots with tremendous power where other people cant get.

benefits

longer rallies

better technique

cheaper to maintain

Grass courts

Grass courts, everyone knows a grass tournament, Wimbledon, and its king Federer, and why is he so good, because of the court.

The grass on the tennis courts will always have to be wet and it will be slippery and the ball will always bounce under your waist highth because the grass will absorve the bounce and make it bounce differently than in vlay courts. This means that the player would have to be very experienced or have a very good technique in order to be able to success.

The wet floor would also make the nall heavier and ruin it faster than ussualiit will also bounce much faster.

Benefits

Easy to maintain in rainy countryes eg England.

Way better reflexes scince faster moovement of the ball.

More technique.

Clay courts.

there are many types of clay tennis courts, but the one I am going to talk about is the Roland Garos kind of clay. They are not actually made of clay, it would be impossible to play in, only if there was a tiny bit of humidity, or it would take too long to recover after a rainy day. This floor is made of a solid permanent base with a layer of crushed brick. This is what makes the ball bounce different.

The effect of clay on the ball.

If you hit a ball with top spin in a clay court it would react differently than when you hit it in any other court Why? Because of the crushed brick the ball will dip into the floor and the bounce will be higher and sharper on the clay court than it would on a hard floor.
Clay courts are slower than any other court so there will be longer rallies since it is really difficult to hit a winner shot. This is the main reason why Nadal is better than anyone else in clay, because he is very strong and he can last long rallies with out getting tired.

In what aspects is clay better than other courts.

More training time since longer rallies are played.

Improved physical and metal strength and endurance.

Learn patience.

Softer ground means that there is less stress

Does the type of court matter?

Yes, it is very important to know what court you are best at, what kind of player are you?

Are you fast and strong, you can last for a long time and you have a very strong arm and put a lot of spin? then your kind of court is clay, just like Rafa Nadal.

If on the other hand you are very technical and  have a high level of positioning and technique then you will play much better in hard floor just like Novak Djokovic.

if you are kind of in the middle of them two because you are fast and you have a very good technique and like doing classy and fancy backspin shots then, your court is grass like Roger Federer.

Drop down in the comment what kind of player you are.
